When I lived in Florida and I knew love bugs were swarming, a common practice was spraying Pam cooking spray to protect paint and chrome while making cleaning much easier. But that is old school and I'm sure that love bugs chemistry has changed since then...

And why is it that when an especially huge, messy bug “commits suicide” on your windshield, it’s always in the middle of your line of sight?

Not to take away from the bugs but I drove a 2019 1500 classic dodge Ram big horn edition. I owned one before and loved it. Nice ride...smooth acceleration and gear change. Powerful engine, more guttural than my tundra. It was a good ride. Last night I got in my 2018 tundra. 1794 edition with the cowboy leather let my windows down (the back glass just set it off for me) opened that sunroof and drove it. I love my truck. It made me remember why i traded my ram to begin with

I'm in Wyoming, so I'm not sure what a "love bug" is, but the moths and skeeters here are thick. Couple that with the dragonflies that eat them, and the grasshoppers from the fields.... I can't keep the bugs off the front. Washed it twice in one day, and it still doesn't matter.

Gotta find something that makes them easier to rinse off. The high elevation sun just cooks them on so fast.:annoyed:

So, we always have the same problem with love bugs....but not this year. I hadn’t even realized until now, but they never showed up. That’s weird....
@ARamirez73 @Trooper2 you guys notice the lack of love bugs this year?

Not seeing the swarms either, if any at all. Actually haven't seen the bad swarms in a few years. Wondering if all the mosquito spraying has an effect?
