Hey guys. I'm going to fabricate a brush guard/pre-runner bumper type thing for the front of my 2016 CM Limited. My question is: Does anyone know how far from the front bumper sensors the tube steel needs to be so it doesn't interfere with the sensor alarm? Or does anyone know where I could look to find the info myself? Thanks in advance :notsure:

You shouldn't have an issue so long as the bar isn't over the sides of the bumper where the sensors are. Nobody seems to be having any issues with aftermarket bull bars or grille guards.

Thanks for the quick response @cdkenne !! At first I was just going to make a bull guard but then got thinking "why stop there?" So then I had the idea to make the Bull Guard style and add some side pre-runner bars kinda like the ones N-Fab sells. So it would be a combo guard. I guess we could always hold the steel tubes in front of the truck and move the tubes around to find out when and how close I could get. I just thought one of you smart guys on here would already know. (I'll bet someone does know)

I wouldn't mount anything directly in front of the sensors. Even if it doesn't set the sensor off, It could reduce its effectiveness.

Did anyone ever figure out the distance or a pre fab'd one that will work with the sensors??

Why not just remount the sensors to the front of the brush-guard? I had to do this on my Armada when I had it. Just mounted them in some small electronics boxes as available from Radio-Trash and extended the wiring harnesses.
