Fumoto Oil Valve/Plug Short or Long?

Simple question: has anyone had any issue with the long fumoto oil valve/plug? Planning on buying a fumoto prior to the first oil change on my 2019 and my thought is to get the longer version so the drainage nipple has ample room to stay on and avoid a mess. Am I over thinking this, never used one of these before but if they dont leak, they seem like a great idea. So does it matter short or long?...(ha, insert innuendo here)

 

F-103N is long enough to attach a drainage tube to. Works great and doesn't leak. I've had mine for about 10k miles.

 

Ok thanks. That's the one I'm most likely going to buy. Not sure why I never looked into these the past 20 years

 

Lifted here, I have same

$37 F103N with LC-10 lever clip FN-Series Engine Oil Drain Valve, 1 Pack

F103N and purchased the clear tube as well to drain Into pan, also plastic lock and rubber cap

 

Copy that, seems like the way to go

 

Have one on my chevy, a shorty, been on there for 150K, no issues at all.

 

I have the standard Fumoto on my Tundra. No, I repeat, no issues getting it drain straight into the pan.

Once you get Fumoto and then do your first oil change you'll be asking yourself "how in the hell have I lived ALL THESE YEARS and not had a Fumoto?"

I have Fumoto on 4 vehicles.

 

My only gripe is mine seemed to drain really slow.
I’ve had one on my Tacoma for 10 years and 145k miles. Works fine other than slow.

 

I've had one on all my cars for the past 5 years. Now I can't live without it. No issues whatsoever.
