My lift - suggestions welcomed!

Just got this Tundra on Friday, already needing to lift it lol! I've had a few Jeeps (all got lifted) and have lifted a handful more. Been wrenching on cars for about 18+yrs. Currently have a 1993 Mazda RX7 in the garage with an LS1 from a Vette in it, Ford 8.8 rear end, etc etc.

On to the Tundra lift! I'd like to get at least 3" if not a tad more. Been searching all over for the best kit and I'm finding parts of some I like and parts I don't like. Going to go coilovers in the front (looking at FatBob's or Toytec's BOSS). BOSS' are currently backordered, ugh! I do have a couple questions though.

1. If I do a 3" or 3.5" in front and use CoachBuilders shims (2 on driver side, 1 on pass) how much extra will that bump the front up? They're 1/4" shims, but not sure how much that translates to actual lift.

2. Definitely going to have to add UCA's; if CoachBuilders bump the lift up to 4", and I grab the ICON leaf spring pack for the rear (1.8" lift on lowest setting) that should put me about even, but do I need spindles in the front for that height? Will do diff drop too (4x4).

3. Less preferred option: 4/2 ReadyLift. Problem is, my current TRD shocks are pretty damn rusty, so I'd have to replace those, adding more cost, so I might as well do a coilover lift, right?? Of course trying not to break the bank hahaha.

Or if anyone else has any suggestions that'd be great! Looking for about 3.5" or so of lift. I really dislike the rear leaf blocks, but I'll throw a 1" one on there if needed. 130k on the truck and the rear leafs don't look all that healthy, but could last a bit more. Thanks fellas!

 

There is this Fabtech kit, says it comes with front coilovers but also looks like it has front spacers? Do you really need the spindles if you have UCA's (for 4")?

How about this BOSS kit? Seems pretty solid, but no UCA's. Only thing I'd be worried about is the rear is a 2" lift with that leaf pack; just wonder how much higher that the front that'd sit. I'm sure someone's used this before?

Think I got it figured out lol.

Toytec BOSS setup, all default options except 1.5" block in the rear plus the extended e-brake lines. CoachBuilder shims (2x driver side, 1x pass side). That should get me about 3.5ish/1.5. Will run that for now, and upgrade to a 1.5" leaf pack in the rear later. Also will do UCA's when I get wheel's tires as it's likely that the stock 18's won't clear UCA's if I did those right now too.
