    Hello all,

    I’ve been back and forth a couple of months deciding on my next truck. I just traded in my dream truck, a 2015 DCSB Blue Ribbon Metallic 6 speed manual 4x4 SUPERCHARGED Tacoma, only has 42k miles.

    Why you ask? Well we have 4 cars and 3 of them we’re sticks...wife ran into an issue driving the Tacoma and after a short panic attack, mandated that it needed to go...

    Tried to sell privately for two months, knowing if I didn’t pull the trigger soon I’d have an unhappy wife.

    That said the contenders over the past couple of months were:

    2017/18 Power Wagon (because why not, you live once...but Wife veto’d this...)
    2019 Ram Rebel
    2019 Tundra

    As awesome as the new RAMS are, and with my buddy working at Chrysler, I was just very concerned at the reliability and durability after a couple of years. I will say these are Beautiful trucks with lots of technology and style so it was hard to walk away, but my gut was telling me to stay with Toyota.

    Found this metallic gray platinum and fell in love.

    Sure the ram may have more power, haul a bit more...but these tundra are rock solid and I love that fact.

    Glad I stayed in the Yota family.

    FWIW, this Tundra feels faster than my Tacoma even with the super charger...also doesn’t feel any slower than a Ram or Silverado with the 5.3 or 5.0 F150.

    As much as I’ll miss my Tacoma, I’m super happy with this as a replacement.
