So I ordered the exhaust and after looking at the videos, I noticed that it looks like the truck in the video has some paint damage from the heat of the exhaust? Am I just looking at that wrong or what?

Anybody with similar setups have any issues with messing up their paint?

The link is http://dirtydeedsindustries.com/product/standard-6-system/ where I saw the video of that gray Tundra.

Doubt its from the exhaust, looks like road wash from the lack of a mud flap.

I hope that's all it is. I looked at the video and I can't tell for sure. It's just strange the pattern it's in around the exhaust.

I have had a BAM standard for almost a year and dont have any sort of mark like that. You dont have anything to worry about.

If it was from the exhaust I would figure you would see it on all Tundras.

    Not nearly enough room here!
I've had Keith's 10" single on my 2010 since 2013. No damage. My exhaust pipe clears everything it could harm though.

Thanks for the answers. I talked to him a little after I posted this and he assured me their exhaust won't cause any problems like that. He's a good guy. I can't wait until I get my exhaust in!

I had my rear quarter above my exhaust and the opposite side clear bra'd and it works wonders for stopping paint wear. I know this tip is late but for anyone else who dispises running flaps like I do it might help out.
