I have a list of my first 3 major mods for my new 2017 Tundra SR5 CM 4x4! Of all 3 I have the cash for 1 of the 3 only, what 1 would you go for first! The other 2 mods I will get Dec or early January!

    1. TRD PRO dual exhaust, TRD sway bar, NFAB tube step and drivers assist handle?

    2. Custom Method or Fuel 18" rims and Toyo RT or AT2's 295/70/18's-- which one and why?

    3. Suspension one of the 3 and why?,

used 2015 TRD PRO suspension with 5000 miles!

    new 6112/5160 setup!

    new FOX set up!

If I was to get #1 first, can I put the sway bar on before a suspension or big tires mods!

Either one, thanks for inputs and advice!

I wouldn't do suspension without wheels/tires at the same time, but you can do wheels/tires without suspension. So, if you want looks and can only afford one thing, I'd do the wheels/tires. If you want the sound, do #1, but look into BAM exhausts as well @dirtydeeds

I maybe mistaken, but 295/70/18's on stock suspension = rubbing? If so, sounds to me that would mean lift or level before wheels and tires. However, if it only requires some minor trimming and flap removal ... then wheels (offset permitting) and tires.

Welcome aboard! You have some great ideas in mind. You could consider just doing it all at once, go further into debt and sign the divorce papers tonight.

I would do the suspension first, you may want 35's after the lift. Just my thoughts. Keep us posted whichever route you go...........

If you're going for a 6" lift go with 37" tires.

I'd say suspension first, then wheels/tires, then the steps/exhaust/grab handle. If it were me in your position, I'd do Fox suspension as my first choice, can't really argue with that as far as quality goes. With the PRO suspension you can still fit 295/70's with shims and shackles though. Another option I'd consider is the Toytec Boss kit, some guys on here have fit even bigger than the size you're looking at with that kit.

And, IMO you kinda have to do the suspension before the tires/wheel 'cause they won't fit w/o the lift.

Can't argue with that. I installed my lift and the tires went on 3 days later. Without the alignment, it drove pretty crappy for those 3 days. Luckily I didn't do much driving.
