2013 Toyota tacoma code p2433 Help

I have a 2013 toyota tacoma, it recently started to act up. It got the maintenance required light on, i checked the code and got random misfire code. I wasn't able to correct the problem, i bought the parts but didn't replace them. I turned the truck on and i got the traction control light along with the check engine and maintenance required light. i changed out all the starting coils along with the spark plugs. i re hooked up the computer and got rid of that code but i got code p2433. which says there is a problem with the secondary air pump. i can't quite pinpoint the problem, I'm not sure if its the pump itself or something else. i checked all fuses and they all seem to be fine. I turned the truck on and pulled the hose off the pump and i could not feel any air. Im not sure if that is because the pump is toast or if thats the way its suppose to work. i don't know where to go from here in finding the problem, can anyone help?
