Glad to see those projectors and diode dynamic switchbacks found a great home! The switchback leds are very bright aren’t they?

Been a long project to get these to this point. Been hard to find time between family and the scorching heat. The 'C' shape switchback is really bright, more than I remembered on your truck.

Replaced front and rear brake pads and did an oil change. Pads were really thin, down to about 3-4mm, but the rotors looked good still. Just broke 70k miles yesterday and as far as I can tell those were the stock pads.

Not really today, but in the last two days I vinyl wrapped bumpers, hood bulge, and mirror caps.... installed the trd pro grill, plastidipped the badges, installed black door handles, installed LED headlights, fog lights, cargo lights, and reverse lights. Been a very productive weekend and my truck looks completely different! A277DE61-3DEA-4468-9671-3393A01C179A.jpgBefore

Washed, Beadmaker and 303 on the trim. Just need to buy some more tire dressing to finish it off.

Man I just got the truck 2 weeks ago and it was already leveled. I’m pretty sure it’s one of the rough country kits. I want to upgrade to maybe a old man emu lift soon. Right now it has 35x12.5 ridge grapplers

Looks good. 303 works okay on tires, low gloss, no sling but doesn't last long. Lots of options out there just be sure its water based unless you get silica based but those are sealants so a different animal.

What would you recommend for a low to medium gloss with easy application? The last stuff I tried turned brown.

The brown actually comes from the rubber of the tire, it's called bloom. I use optimum tire coating but that's a whole different beast, it's a semi permanent coating that lasts for months with medium sheen. It's amazing IF you do the prep work and application. I mean it lasts MONTHS. For a regular tire dressing I recommend waxaddict tyre feeder but its hard to find so my choice would be carpro perl. Perl is diluted to various strengths depending on what you're doing with it so a bottle goes a long way. Once you try that, you may never touch 303 again. So my recommendation is carpro perl unless you wanna get into a tire coating, if you do you'll wanna buy shine supply wise guy tire cleaner for the job and then follow the directions very carefully. Optimum makes a good coating, as does Tuf shine.

Now all you have to do is paint the machined edge of your rims gloss black and it will look very close to a pro . I did mine the other day. 1 can of gloss black enamel did all 4 wheels. Lots of green frog tape and some patience. I'm happy.

This was my first time wrapping anything and it turned out okay but it is definitely temporary. I will slowly replace with painted parts but I did all of that for less than painted mirror caps would cost so I’m pretty happy with it for now.

Thanks! I ordered the grille off of Amazon. Tidal Automotive. It looked the same as the EAG grille but was $138 versus $170-something. The price diff may have been due to color, IDK. Came without white paint on surround. Anyway, it came with an EAG emblem where my current trd logo is. I ordered the trd logo off of Ebay from a dealer $39. At least it is made of metal. I tried to distract the eye from the break in the mesh allowing EAG to mount their logo. It wasn't super noticeable, but the mesh kind of filled in in that spot didn't look great and i didn't want their logo. I went to TAP plastics and got a sheet of ABS then to Home Depot to get a similar sized thin sheet of diamond plate and epoxied them together. I used a Bosch 21 tooth metal cutting blade to cut out the letters. Was like butter. Any rough spots or poor jigsawing lines I filed with an agressive-removal file and then I sprayed them with adhesion promoter, primer and Duplicolor universal flat black paint. A bit painstaking, but I kind of wanted something unique and thought i could do it cheaper than trd pro. I always think that and I'm always wrong. Adding up paint costs - Adhesion promoter, primer, color match and Spraymax clear (did the surround and hood bulge) plus epoxy, ABS, diamond plate (also bought a tool I didn't already own) and I'm sure it was more money and time than a reasonable human would spend. I guess I like the DIY angle. Probably rear end someone tomorrow and smash it to bits. Oh, finally, the letters were mounted to the mesh with Goop. That stuff is strong! I know that there is ABS cement as both are made from it (the grille mesh and letters) but the goop did the job.

I've been thinking of using the Genesis Dual Battery kit but wanting to mount the second batter under my roll up tonneau canister in the bed instead of in the engine comparment. Any thoughts based on what you have learned that says not to do that?

35x12.5 ridge grapplers for tires. And I just bought the truck a 2 weeks ago and it already had lift and tires on it. Not exactly sure what lift but some sort of rough country product. My guess is their 2.5-3” kit. I would like to upgrade the suspension though. I like the look of the truck but the ride isn’t the best
