To me black looks good when clean and the paint has been maintained very well. I don't think it's the best all around color if it's painfully obvious you went through an automatic car wash once...

The Army Green is neat, but I am content to leave that for those who may have served, rather than me pretending I did. lol

Black is iconic, but you can spend 2 hours washing, waxing, buffing, and 20 minutes later it's got a layer of dust reflecting back through the mirror finish.

I am actually looking most forward to the grey TRD Pro. That one is gonna be the hotness sleeper for 2020.

    Black is bad ass.

If you obsess on always polishing and washing a car then its not the color for you. If u love spraying n scrubbing. Go nuts then as black lets you do that daily.

I myself could care less and wash it maybe once every 2 to 3 weeks and in spring i hose it down just to no inhale so much pollen.

Next time i will go for the silver or the bronze.

Some of the special colors are cool and sharp, but faddish and wont stand the test of time in murica.

Sand is cool but will always be a terrorist hilux to me. Cement is bad ass but i cant help think that they need to finish the paint job since it looks like a primer coat, the olive drab if it becomes a color choice will remind me of motor pool mondays in the army (sand does the same too it just depends on where you were stationed if you had green or sand vehicles.lol)

Black you will be cleaning all the time.
Army green makes me think of the old guys that served in a FOB that cant for the life of them escape the only accomplishment they ever had which was serving in The Army.

I think a lot of you put too much meaning behind the name of the paint. If it was Forest Green would you think it was only for deer hunters?

Black when detailed looks like you could drink the paint like a pool of water.

Five seconds later you are dusting it off with your California duster.

The army green sounds cool, but looks like crap. With that clear coat and shine its lost anything Army about it. Black is really hard to maintain. Go MGM!!

Army Green looks cool but I honestly think I’d grow tired of the color over time. I’m just glad they didn’t bring back the Cement otherwise I’d have to jump at it. Love my cement!

Green is cool. But not long term. Apparently me and like 11 people think so tho so :notsure:

You can also consider vinyl wrapping in army green. Gives you more freedom down the rd if you end up disliking it.

Looks better than I thought it would, but that's the best it's ever going to look. Fresh off the factory line and detailed brand new.. "ARMY" Green is such a cheap shot attempt and swaying patriotic/gullible military men and families. Shame on you, Toyota marketing team.

Not the first time "Army Green" has been used in Toyota's line up. Little late to be getting worked up over the name of a color.

If you tint and debadge that army green and run some SCS bronze or grey wheels on it that would be a very good looking truck. It will not be out dated in two years or so because it’s yours and you will love it. I have cement and love it. I see root beer tundras every once and awhile and they look awesome still. You can get black anyone you want. Also, if you get tired of the army green it will resell very quickly so you can get out of it easily.
I suggest you do not do black rims. Maybe an anthracite or matte grey. Bronze would look amazing on that truck. Matte bronze from SCS.

I sadly change my mind, the green just doesn't look right on a 3rd Gen Tundra. I'd look more into the MGM Pro, they had it on the 2016 Pro's but it was a classic
