    @Watt maker

    Had some strap laying around, these were 4" L brackets with holes already, drilled extra hole, so hole to hole is 3", was bored watching TV, so came out to try n figure out, guess I'll be buying a 40" bar.....but by looks of a 40, how in the hell would you secure to level it??? Think I'll get a 1" wide 1/2" thick piece of foam so bar sits on top, Thanks @War_Wagon312 for showing me it can be done

    Just got through installing my GTR Generation 3 headlight LED bulbs. Dang, what an improvement from the OEM halogens.

    I used this one but there’s alot out there to choose from. Don’t you love when people put 1 star because it doesn’t have a feature they want, but it’s not pertinent to the operation of the machine..

    I did this too, was my first mod. I couldn’t believe Toyota dropped it after 2013, the only time it gets in my way is when I lean my head over to the drivers window to attempt to see past a larger vehicle in front of me.

    From what I’ve read, the vertical ones do the best at altering the trajectory of small insects, the flat ones we usually put on not much, mostly cosmetic. It won’t help rocks at all (physics) why I usually try not to follow tractor trailers. There’s a good vid by a car guy how to clean/wax a windshield so less things stick/smudge.

    I did the same mod, not realizing how much it would help after surgery. Out of our three vehicles, I could only get in and out of the Tundra.

    When you put a 40 in there you will see where on the grill you gotta notch it a bit. The light bar covers it when you snap the grill in. So it doesn't look like a hack job. The light bar actually mounts to you're bumper.

    Had some extra lights but they were too big to fit on my front bar. So had my bro in law cut some scrap metal to make a plate. Not bad and zero $$.

    Strait. I thought about the curved. I think it would look nice. The front end has a curve that a curved light bar would follow nicely.
