Yeah. Biggest one I’ve ever caught. 22” 6lbs. Almost yanked the rod out of my hand. Same day my bro in law got a 40” muskey. I love northern WI.

    fishing funeral.jpg

A funeral procession pulled into a cemetery. Several carloads of family members followed a black truck towing a boat with a coffin in it.
    A passer-by remarked,
“That guy must have been a very avid fisherman.”
“Oh, he still is,” remarked one of the mourners.

"Matter of fact, he’s headed off to the lake as soon as we bury his wife . . . "

Started off with about 4 channels in the 2-3 pound range. Then I caught my personal best. :rofl:Good luck one-upping this. I wish I was in a tournament and got to weigh him in.

Had a couple early morning visitors at one of my favorite spots to throw dries on the south platte in eleven mile canyon. Even managed to sneak the tundra into the pic.

Wish I could post a pic, but a damn bear came and told us to get out of the way before we could take a pic. Gutted it and ate it in a minute.20190823_150528.jpg 20190823_150531.jpg

This "Doormat " was caught in Oregon Inlet, not sure if I heard my buddy right. It supposedly weighed in @ 19#:eek2:. NC state record is 20+#'s. Can't wait to get back home. I feel a citation trout this fall  Fishing has been epic on all fronts this year so far from what I've been told.
