2018-2019...seems straight forward. TPMS wire cut at 13:10.

    https://youtu.be/0VcbQdS0oX8

I wouldn't use butt connectors but that's just me. All your doing is cutting the factory TPMS wire in half, soldering the remote start in between the two halves to act as an interrupt. Color code does matter so pay attention.

Got mine today. No instructions. 2018 model with the splice. Guess I'll follow the video unless someone else wants to post pictures of the instructions.

    Install done.
Took me 3 Hours, start to finish. Well almost finish, had to find some tools, couldn't remember where my wire sheath and Tesa tape were hiding.
For now I just shoved the module between the ECU and whatever else is up there. I will either velcro it or mold a piece of pvc sheet to mount it to.
Install was very straight forward, instructions paired with the video made the install so smooth. Not happy with how I ran the TPMS harness, but it's up behind the air tubes and not touching the transmission tunnel.
Programming, if you can call pushing a button programming, was silky smooth.
For today I'm very happy. Definitely going to order the mycar module.

    Thanks @james@tech12volts

375... I think 378 is for the newer version that 12VoltSolutions sells(not the same as tech12volts) they use a 100% plug and play harness....tech12 does not for 2018/19.

The video I posted is showing a 12VoltSolutions install on a 2018 BEFORE they moved to a 100% no splice install.

Did we ever get confirmation if the Key Sense wire needed to be connected for those with the factory alarm? I'm going to tackle my install tomorrow afternoon along with the MyCar unit. My email states "you will see a White with black stripe wire in the diagram also. This is the key sense wire and you do not need it all." I thought I recall some posts a while back that ran into a snag with this wire or am I just losing it?

Thanks for the video link. I just finished up the install on my sr5 2019 cm. It took me two times to get the button sequence right so I just unplugged the big connector and started over with 10 button pushes and waited for the flash to repeat 9 times. I actually spliced the tpms wire before I started the sequence of buttons on the black box vs in his video where he did it afterwards. Couple odd things, the black box was a little warm so I hope it’s not a battery drain item I need to be concerned with. 2nd. The tpms orange light stays on until you put the truck in drive.3rd I went to lunch and tried the distance test and pushed the key fob button 3 times to get the truck to start and the horn and lights started going off like crazy from about 100ft away. I pushed the unlock button and it stopped but that never occurred before. I waited a longer half second between push button sequence and the truck started. Not really liking the 3 button sequence but it allowed me to keep the stock key so it’s a give and take.

Starting my install in about 2.5 hours after I can home from work. Anyone have any ideas for location of the mycar module?

I put it between the foam insulation from the vent and the tube. Seems to work well and hasn't moved since install.

Didn't James mention some of the units weren't programming correctly or something? If it's not relocking then there's something wrong. At least you have the workaround to just lock it.

Well install was easy and straightforward. I programmed the console as described then hit the lock three times and nothing happened... I'll check connections again...

Other than that the only thing I can think of is the factory alarm needs to be tapped with the key sense wire. Any thoughts?
