I'm running the factory Duratracs and the door sticker says 30 psi front/33 psi rear.

At those pressures they just look low to me. Am I crazy?

    No. You're not crazy.
That tire at those pressures will support max GVWR.

Do they "look" low like there is too much sidewall bulge on the bottom? If so bump them up a few. Maybe 36. Too much higher than that you'll affect ride quality.

    My wife’s car says 35psi. I run them 45 front 38 rear.

An old school alignment guy I go to told me that the manufacturers recommend too low of a rating for plush ride and better braking. Not sure if the braking part is true but tire wear has improved dramatically by adding more pressure to her fronts. 35 was burning the tires out.

Pump your tires up to 45 and do a chalk test. I run E rated at 55 front and they are good.

Discount Tire said to run 42 in Duratracs on my Tacoma. Door sticker for my BFGs says 46 but I run 50. I would try 46. At the normal door sticker PSIs you are going to wear the outer edges and get worse MPGs.

Had the same question myself this week. I’ve got these on my 2019. Had 285/55/20 KO2s on my 2016. Got 2-3 miles better on my 2016. Went to discount tire and they recommended 38.

Are y’all running the same pressure in all four or staggered lower in the fronts? What are the pros/cons of either way?

I run 55 front and 40 unloaded rear. Feels good.

You need the tire to have proper contact of the road with the whole tread. Too high and youre just riding the center, too low and it’s just riding the edges, sapping your mileage. If it is too high you will be breaking the tires loose constantly, and i will be bucking like a horse

LOL y'all talking all these crazy air pressures you run with E rated tires.
I don't see where he asked y'all what you run in your tires.

The 275 Duratracs max out at 51 and will hold max weight at 36psi.

I’m giving an example that the door pressure doesn’t always match what you need. Not did i tell him to run 55. I suggested doing 45 and testing it because i was very aware that his load rating wouldnt be that much higher than that.
Toyota’s door recommendation is hogwash. Just is
