Seems like a good reason to install to offset the additional fuel price

Riding in it is kind of like getting a lap dance from Megan Fox while firing a machine gun that has unlimited ammo, all while riding a bear through the woods. In other words, pretty damn cool :burnrubber:

I'm not sure, I was wondering that myself. I thought with a supercharger You can get better gas mileage and more horsepower.

I'm sure you know, but if you are heavy footed your mileage will drop drastically.
Under normal driving/towing with the SC you get more horsepower so less pedal with more power equals better fuel mileage.

I have a 2 wheel drive and wasn't thinking about their trucks being 4wd when I questioned the 13mpg.
My 08 DC SC 2wd average back and forth to work is 16 to 18 depending on traffic.
    Highway 18to 19 average @ 75mph.
    That's using truck computer

I bought the truck from my dad. He got the SC 15 months later because it was on back order. He said before the installed he was getting high 17mpg and high 18mpg after the installed. However, he was getting the avg mile per gal from the onboard computer which I recently found out it's way off. It would said 18.8 but I was actually get 13.1 mpg (resetting it every filled up). I just think that having the SC will really throw off your numbers.

I did my own test by keeping the RPM under 2000 for the last tank. However, I'm still getting low 13 mpg. I'm not too concerned about the MPG but I am concerned about the supercharger. I just wonder if it needs to be tuned. The truck only have 21k mileage and 9k of it was with SC.

I will do it manually for a couple weeks and see what I end up with comparison wise.
