I want to install a trd exhaust on my new truck. I have heard mixed reviews about the TRD CAI so that’s up in the air. What other mods would you recommend for bolt on hp increase?

Long tube headers with custom duals out the back and supercharger. Short of that you’re really not going to gain much. You may gain a little with the TRD intake. I doubt you’ll gain anything from the TRD exhaust. In stock form these trucks do best with a single tail pipe outlet.

Some people like a custom Dap tune but I don’t think that’s available for the 19s yet. As well as any supercharger tuning.

I’m running the bully dog, and a dirty deeds muffler with a high flow air filter. The gains are marginal. Feels a little quicker and sounds 100 times better. But that could be the but dyno.

One other trick that I haven’t used is the coolant bypass mod for the throttlebody. You just loop the coolant lines that go to the throttlebody so that it doesn’t get hot coolant lowering your AIT’s.

It takes some serious coin to get these things in quicker. Long tubes and a custom tune and exhaust would be the best bang for the buck, short of the supercharger LOL.

Factory intake is a CAI. Don't waste your money. Most of us use a drop in filter and have the SABM.

A dyno tune for high octane fuel (and any other upgrades you bolt on) would unlock peak power also. Advance the timing for high octane.

Loop the coolant hoses leading to the throttle body, keeping the throttle body out of that loop

It’s minimal gains. But long term overall, it’s gains. And it’s free.

Is it a good idea to run long tubes with a super charger?

I’ve tested multiple exhaust systems on multiple trucks with and without a supercharger. There’s no need to run long tubes with a supercharger. Just a simple bolt on Catback is all you need.

Would a S/C Tundra not benefit from LT Headers more then a N/A engine? I would imagine that more air in makes more air out...but if you can swing that model to even let more air out, there has to be some noticeable benefits to pairing a LT header exhaust system to a S/C'd engine...right?

LT’s with a S/C would benefit greatly but from what I’ve read, tuning and fuel becomes the issue. That’s why nobody does it

A supercharged engine is not a naturally aspirated engine. At least not a tvs1900 charged engine.

A turbo or centrifugal supercharger acts like a naturally aspirated engine and benefits from ‘air out’. But a twin screw forces in the air, and it gets forced out too.

I’ve tested our trucks with the very best exhaust and the very worse exhaust (melted cats literally a brick blocking the exhaust flow). Said truck had exactly the same times with headers and race exhaust, stock exhaust, headers and melted cats.

The tvs1900 doesn’t care what exhaust is on your truck. It will flow air if the rotors are spinning.

A turbo or centrifugal supercharger will cavitate the air since it’s not forcing it. Neither is ‘positive displacement’. So they will tend to act more like NA and want better exhaust.

Best advice I can give when supercharged with a TVS1900, choose a flow thru style muffler to reduce the pressure and heat, but don’t waste the $$ on a full race system with headers etc.

    Call for details. 760-877-4234

Does adding the dirty deeds exhaust to the truck void the warranty? I was under the impression that replacing the exhaust with TRD system doesn't void it.

Exhaust does not void factory warranty unless it was the actual cause of a failure. Which exhaust can’t cause a rear end, tranny, or engine to blow up. Etc.
