One of my favorite breeds. Great dispositions and full of personality! He definitely looks like he commands a Crewmax!

 

I miss my schnauzer. She was an awesome dog. Bacchus looks like a little mischievous dude!

so sorry for your loss man. i used to have a short hair chihuahua mix with my ex's family, she took her when we split one of the reasons i got inky couldn't deal with out the companionship.

Hey guys! Anyone have experience with an aggressive dog? My chessie is pretty aggressive and I have been managing it for about 5 yrs. it’s tough because he is a sweet dog 95% of the time. He has already bit 2 people so he is on his final strike. I have seen 6 trainers and nothing seems to help. Is it bad of me to consider putting him down? I am really struggling

 

That 5% could cost someone else dearly. If you've had trainers working with him and still no go, well I'm not telling you but you already know. Maybe see if you can find a rescue for him?

When I was a kid we had a lab that would attack any stranger coming in the yard, Dad found someone who had a farm who took him and he lived a ripe old age. Some dogs just ain't social.

I feel your pain brother. I had to put my doberman down last yr it's hard for me to watch my neighbors doberman even though she is smaller and a different color. Mine was only 9 yrs old but he broke his spine and he was never going to be the same even after surgery so I made the rough decision. But when it's a 110# dog not easy to carry him everywhere.

 

Yep I have always had large dogs . But anymore with camping and things we like to do it's hard to take them with us but they are gentle giants . My wife actually wants a mastiff but idk if I can do all that. And it seems like the larger the shorter life they have. Not cool.

 

It does seem the larger they are the shorter the life. My uncle had a mastiff. He always says if he could get another dog again it would be a mastiff again.

My Lucy, lost her three years ago when she was 14, had her for 10 yrs after I rescued her. Best example of how mellow and loving pits are! I could count on two hands how many times I heard her bark, nothing ever bothered her! Miss having a pitty!
