Put on the black chrome tailpipes for my TRD exhaust. It's a nice touch on MGM.

I spent 8 hours installing a new Kenwood head unit. 5 minutes programming the Maestro, 30 minutes soldering the head unit harness to the Toyota T harness, 20 minutes installing in truck (routing the OBD wire, new USB port, installing Sirius). The best part was the 2 hours I spent trying to get it to power on because the install instructions on the iDatalink Maestro site fail to mention the 2.5mm to 3 pin cable you need to install in addition to the data cable. I took it to the shop I bought all the stuff from and it took the install guy all of about 3 seconds to find the problem because "they always forget to mention that part".

The rest was trying to get the mother f*@cking cheap ass trim surround I bought to line up right. I caved and took it in to a local install store. They had a nice double DIN trim kit that looks OEM and installed in 10 minutes. Lesson learned.......don't cheap out on the fit and finish; and leave it to the pros.

I would check the owners manuel. Not sure what needs service at 50k in the 4wd system, maybe the transfer case. Seems like kinda soon for that.

Added some husky floor mats and I am very impressed. The OEM rubber floor mat on the passenger side wouldn't sit right and the edges frayed up. These husky mats are beautiful but time will tell.

I really want a new windshield. The previous owner of my truck scratched the shit out of the inside of it, I assume the scratches are from a cleaning it while wearing a ring or something like that, they are deep and everywhere

I'm not gonna lie, I didn't realize how over 5 years how bad my windshield was scratch until now. It took me driving to work this morning to figure out that this mod was a lot cooler than I originally said, its silly clear.

Got my lower grille trim back from the paint shop and did the Pro grille swap yesterday. Also de-badged and changed the Michelins for KO2s in a 275/70r18. Patiently waiting for the parts man to come back today with some more goodies.

Doing the 10k service today plus a couple of recalls. Was told that because the truck is lifted, Toyota can’t figure out the algorithm to fix the TSS Radar issues. So, to fix it, they are turning off the TSS radar. I responded with, “Hallelujah, Thank You!” No more phantom braking, clean sensor, orange pcs idiot light, etc... Just a normal CrewMax Tundra like my ‘08 was!!

I looked around a bit and it doesn't look like they are selling them anymore. Message on their website about phasing out anything that said "TRD" because of copyright issues and it seems that goes for "Tundra" as well. They are also a vendor here in the forums.

I took your advice and jumped on board. Only difference is I painted just the machined edge with gloss enamel. Thanks for the push. I just saved $1000. TRD center caps in the mail.
