This is my 3rd Gen Tacoma with my Power Folding Mirror Kit installed on my Truck. I have attached my Install Guide and if you read the top portion, you will read the Product Detail and exactly how my Power Folding Mirror Control Module is programmed. It has many features, not just when you start the truck and shut off the truck.

I will also be adding with this Kit soon for the Tacoma’s a PNP Harness that will be for Auto Up/Down Closing/Opening the Windows with the Key Fob. This PNP Harness is the exact same I was showing pictures of for the 2nd Gen Tundra’s OEM Connectors. I need someone with a 3rd Gen, to look inside their Driver’s Door ASAP at these same OEM Connectors and let me know if you have the same ones as well. I need the Part No. please. The only thing that will change on this Harness is the Connectors for your OEM Mirror Control Switch because we do not use the same Switch. Tundras use the same Switch as the 4Runners.

Are those turn signals in the front of your mirrors?

Yes they are. I actually converted them to RGB Switchback Turn Signals. I also have Rigid Pod Ditch Lights and I just finished installing my Side Blidspot Cameras that also come on my screen when I use my Turn Signals. I’m currently in the process of installing my Camera Harness as we speak that will have a 4-way display where I will be able to see my two side cameras and my front and rear cameras all at once, but if I want to change any of my cameras I can select any 4 I want to view. I can have up to 6 on my system. The additional ones are cargo and trailer. I have my cargo camera installed in my third brake light and currently I do not have a trailer camera. Underneath I have Switchback Puddle Lights so when I use my blinker they flash amber but when I open my door they show white to shine one the ground.

Yeah. I get a lot of compliments. I’ve done a lot of additional mods on people’s mirrors when they order when I can fit it in too. However, I’d much rather sell the DIY Kits as it allows me more time for other projects :)

According to this Tailgate Handle for the 2 Gen Tundra

    AD320347-4A38-4E00-BAD8-6BA416CC3287.jpg

It doesn’t look like I will need to make a different BNL. The current one looks like it might fit as well. I should know on Wednesday. If that’s the case, since they use the same connectors as the 3rd Gen Tacomas, their Tailgate Lock Plug-N-Pay Kit is Done and ready sell.

Now for the 3rd Gens, I just need to get PNP Harness made and your Kit is ready because you use the same BNL. The PNP I just have to switch the Connectors.

@KTJO 4x4 Just to make sure. You know that factory and aftermarket power folding mirrors are available for the Tundra. You just need to figure out the wiring and module part. No mirror modification and actuators needed. I'm in for this and the tail gate.

I don’t think that’s the product she is going for. Her prices are crazy low if you look at her Tacoma mod. By “retrofitting” stock mirrors the buyer is saving about $1000 right off the bat (iirc).

I'm in for that too... but would want it to work with Tow mirrors.. not standard mirrors.

Wait, is this for the wiring to convert limited/platinum/1794 folding mirrors on a truck without just with wiring and you provide your own folding mirror?
or converting non factory mirrors into folding with motor etc plus wiring?

I already have Platinum mirrors and the switch. I just want the wiring harness to make it PNP

Nope... I got a 1794 and have power mirrors as well... As far as I understand @KTJO 4x4 it's adding the auto fold feature when power on/off the vehicle! At least that's what I understand from the 'Product detail' info included on her previous posts.

I simply don't understand why Toyota didn't included this simple feature on trucks this expensive, it's a no brainer!

I'm sure Katie will chime in to provide more input on this...

Didn’t know that. That’s even better to know. Let I have to do and my part is already done then. I pretty much have the harness complete. I will be sending out the harness soon to a tester

My prices are definitely reasonable because I believe that everyone should have these mods. Too many people sky-rocket their prices to get the most money. I do this on the side. It first started because I just did this for my truck and someone saw my post on my thread and wanted it too. I said sure and that’s how it all started. Again, I just do this on the side. It’s not my full time job and it won’t ever be. I just really feel it’s something to do to help people out to have some cool shit on their trucks that to be honest should have been there in the beginning. I’m not really sure what you guys have done in the past on this forum and tbh I’m good with my product. I know it works and it’s Plug-N-Play. Now if you get my product and you want to modify it after the fact, that’s on you. If that makes sense. If all you guys need is just the wiring and Control Module and no Switch because you already have the Switch, then that works even better for me.

Exactly @KTJO 4x4 !!!! it just doesn't make any sense for me as to why Toyota didn't included auto folding on higher trim Tundra's... I mean, it's included in many of their sedan's... meaning it's not unknown of cumbersome for them to enable this..

In the other hand, I for one really appreciate you enabling these features and you being straight forward about what drives you! Thanks Katie!!! You give a fresh spin to share the love!

As far as I know Platinum and 1794 trims DO have power mirrors... In my case what I'm looking for it's the auto fold/open depending when ignition it's ON or OFF as my 1794 do have the manual switch to do it but all too often I remember to do this when already away from my truck and minding my business... (REALLY Toyota!!!)

Will this make the harness work easier or not? :D

I'm still totally IN for your mirror and the tailgate products!

Thanks for all your effort, keep the good work!

Well if I could get a 3rd Gen person to post a picture of their Door at some point and also list what their connect Part No are it would be greatly appreciated. Do you guys not have any wire diagrams of your 3rd Gen truck? That would help a great deal too.

This is a look at the 3rd Gen Tacoma PNP Harness. I actually just made it 100% PNP as well as I just found the last OEM Connectors to complete the Harness.

    DD28AA39-E6E1-4C72-BC0E-D0E605574BF2.jpg

If you see the Black Wire to the Left that goes into the 16-Pin O1 OEM Mirror Control Switch, we also have a White Wire (not pictured) that taps into the Power Window Master SW Pin #13. It also goes into the 16-Pin O1 OEM Mirror Control Switch.

    DFA82C99-1AD8-467B-8EE1-F8ABA99DB65A.jpg

Here are the OEM Connectors that I will be making into the PNP Power Window Master SW Harness.

    B93813D9-4063-4B67-946E-BE825AC71479.jpg

I will be making the wires 4” long in the middle so it won’t be as long as this one.

Thank you for sure it does help a lot of people out. I know I appreciate that you take time out of you life to produce things that help other people without taking advantage of the people with prices. I have a SR5 and I def want the tailgate lock, unlock and open feature you are working on. I will also be in for the folding mirrors as well.

If you read my post above #92, it lists the features of my harness and what my Control Module is programmed to do.

The Mirrors will automatically FOLD when you LOCK your vehicle with Key Fob. Likewise, they will automatically UNFOLD when you UNLOCK your vehicle with your Key Fob. When heading into a narrow parking space or garage, pressing the “FOLD” Button on the Side Mirror Control Switch, just left of the Steering Column, Mirrors will FOLD in towards the Side Windows. To put them back into Driving Position, pressing the “UNFOLD” Button on your Side Mirror Control Switch prior to leaving your vehicle. When you return, your mirrors will NOT automatically UNFOLD when you UNLOCK your vehicle with your Key Fob as your Side Mirror Control Switch is ALWAYS primary when it comes to controlling your Power Folding Mirrors. To put them back into Driving Position, again, pressing the “UNFOLD” Button will UNFOLD the Mirrors. This feature is great for the Winter months when your Mirrors may need to warm up prior to UNFOLDING.

as a matter of fact, we do. attached.

also, is there way to configure the kit so they only fold/unfold when you push the fold button? not every time the vehicle is locked/unlocked

    Bad ass!!
So basically, on my SR5 Truck that did not come with power folding mirrors, I can get the actual mirrors from a Platinum/1794, the switch, and your harness and I will be in business?

From what I understand I already have the power fold mirrors that came with the Platinum so the only part I need is the wiring harness. If I am off please advise

Yes I do. Can you please look at your connectors and see what the part no are. It will say on the actual connectors. Also if you could take a picture of them that would be greatly appreciated. I need the same ones as the ones in my harness bc what I will do is just swap out the connectors and match up the wires.

The switch is primary in my system. So if you have the switch pushed in for Fold. When you lock the truck and then come back and unlock the truck, the mirrors will not unfold. They will not unfold until you hit the switch. That is how my control module is programmed.
