    Hey guys, just joined the Toyota family with the purchase of my new 2019 Platinum 3R3 Tundra. Loving this truck so far, it is much nicer that my 2014 Ram that I traded for it. Hope to get to know y'all over the next few years.

    I am always curious as to why you went with Toyota.

    Was there something wrong with the ram, how did the ram perform, break downs etc.

    There are a lot of people that buy Toyota like Apple users but dont get a chance to hear from those that went from something else.

    i personally just liked the looks and came from driving a car. I liked the size. I then bought a Tacoma and was hooked. My first was an 07 Tacoma then a factory direct 12 Tacoma and then I went with a 2019 Tundra pro
    because I liked it and I tried other trucks like a Raptor, Chevy, etc

    I traded my Ram because after 68k miles and having to replace 2 fuel pumps, 6 broken exhaust manifold bolts,2 cams, 4 valves, and 4 lifters (all of which were out of warranty except for 1 of the fuel pumps) I was done working on the truck.

    I chose Toyota because I have a few friends that have beaten the living hell of of their Tundras over the past decade or so and they have only performed routine maintenance on them. I also really like the looks of the 19's and couldn't pass up the deal that they gave me for trading in my Ram.

    I knew going into the Tundra that I wouldn't get the MPG I got out of my 8 speed Ram but I would rather have have a dependable truck than one that gets decent MPG and breaks down every other oil change.
