What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I got the tires from the dealership, they were having a special. I haven't found any scratches yet thankfully.

 

I have a 4” (no jokes please) antennae I took from my Taco and reception is not very good. I’m old 50+ and still listen to the radio so I will be switching back to the stock antenna.

 

Installed coach builder +1 shackles!
1 of the oem bolt and sleeve was seized together, so had to cut the bolt and press out. The other came out easy!

Do you have any info on the alpine unit or install info? I like it a lot!!

It an Alpine Halo 309. It is a really nice unit, limited, but definitely a solid first run piece.
I bought everything individually, and did the install myself without any issues. This thread might help you..

Got a huge crack which caused me to have to schedule a new windshield (gets done Tuesday ).... so gave her a bath and waxed her to sooth my frustration

 

For about $18 per wheel, I now have TRD pro-looking wheels (Plasti-dipped) that I did myself. It’s a temporary thing until I do a bunch of other mods.

 

Thanks for that. I was wondering what they would look like all black. That's next on my list now.

I may end up getting them powder coated as a next step. Will be about $100 per wheel I think.

 

What color plastidip did you use?

 

I did matte black (4 coats) and then added two coats of glossifier.

What bumper is that?

 

It’s the Addictive Desert Designs (ADD) Stealth Fighter bumper.

 

Just added Black stickers to the side Tundra letters..!

Also replaced the 3 front tweeters on the dashboard with these units and men the sound improved like 3 times-I really like the base - the side doors speakers are 2 OHMS- don’t need to change unless you add an Amp.

How do you like that KB Voodoo rack? I'm torn between that one and the Victory 4x4 one. Also, is that the 18"?

 

I love it!! Yes, 18”! Can see plenty out the window with the RTT on it....can be a challenge to assemble and I know of some members who had missing bolts and customer service is spotty. Excellent rack!! If you get it and have questions just ask me!!

Got alignment today with JBA uca @ 2.5 lift. How does it look?

 

A lot of caster. You’ll drastically reduce the life of your steering rack if you have taller, wider tires.

 

Exhaust tip installed! Truck needs a wash, though. Lots of rain lately.

I got a set as well.

 

ADD bumper and warn winch installed. Supercharger and other lights, plus the GFC next, when it is done and I am built. Getting close.

 

Put new black tpo caps on the chrome bumper and a rock slider step ( bumper collision protection) on my cement girl.
