I own a 2016 CM TSS 4x4 with original 20" wheels. I want to go with 17" wheels and thus I have been researching wheels, looking for a 17" wheel without fake beadlocks and with good backspace numbers for a non-lifted truck (keep as much of tire as possible inside the wheelwell where the factory put it).

I noticed that one of the 17x9" Fuel Beast D564 wheel options has a 35mm offset or 6.4" backspace. At 32 pounds, the wheel is heavier than I would like but it does have one of the best offset or backspace numbers for getting the wheel inside the wheeelwell. I also like the color (a good compromise to sold black) and the general idea of the old school 5/6 spoke wheel.

I know that there are some other wheels with fake beadlocks that have some good numbers, but I just hate the look of fake beadlocks.

Anyone running these that has pictures? Thanks

I love these rims also and did quite a bit of research a year or two ago. I'm not 100% sure, but the general conclusion I came to was that the backspacing wouldn't allow the rim to clear the brakes. Again, you might be able to call Fuel and get some more info, but I don't think they'll fit, unfortunately.

Thanks. That would NOT be good to order them and they won't fit. I may end up going with 18" wheels of some kind if 17" won't fit unless the wheels are sticking out of the wheelwells. I don't want wheels that stick out a lot. The 18" would be a safer bet.

I totally agree. I wanted 17s, and I liked that the offset wasn't as low as the 18s, but it didn't look like it was going to work with our brake setup. Good luck!

I just installed the 17x9 with the +20 offset. There was some small scraping on the inside of the wheel. It was just hitting some of the surface rust on the driver's front caliper. I took the grinder to it and they fit just fine. No issues with the first few hundred miles.

I put some 285/70R17 Sumitomo Encounter AT's on them. Love the look! Only mod I had to do was remove the front mud flap.

Thanks for your pictures and your reply. Nice truck and nice wheels. Hopefully someone who asks this question in the future will find this. I went with a different wheel in 18" but thanks for your reply.
