Bluetooth problems

    I recently got my 2016 SR5 CM and I started having problems with my Bluetooth while listening to my music on my iPhone 7 Plus. I initially thought that it might be the phone, but my brother-in-law got a brand new Tundra as well and started having the same issues. The problem is that when I first start my truck it connects to the phone and starts playing like a second of the song, but at a very fast tempo. I have to turn off and turn the Bluetooth back on from my phone while the truck is on so that I can start listening to the music again. If there is a way of fixing the problem can someone please let me know how I could fix it please. Thanks!

    I stream audio from my phone (Galaxy S7 Edge) daily and have never had this issue. I too have a 2016 SR5 CM with the Entune audio system.

    Does your BIL have the same phone? Use the same audio app? Do you have access to another phone to pair and test with?

    I don't see how the problem could be anything but the phone..

    There may be a system update that you, or the dealer, needs to download and update.

    I haven't had any issues like this with either my Android or iPhone, either streaming or using the Entune app.

    Sounds good fellas! Thanks for your help. I deleted all phones from the Bluetooth list except mine and it seems to be doing the job. We'll see if I need to do anything further...

    I just purchased a 17 CM Limited and my android is doing the same thing with it. I haven't taken in to the dealer yet, but it didn't do it with my F250 or my wife's Camry.

    Having the same issue. Turning the phone's Bluetooth off and on fixes it. Just started a week ago.

    I think I found the fix. I've got 3 iPhones paired to my Entune system. Personal phone, work phone, and the wife's phone. My personal phone is the default.

    For my work and wife's phones I went to the Bluetooth settings and for each phone went to the device info. There is a setting there that allows you to choose to connect to Bluetooth from the device vs an automatic connection. So far no more problems.

    Solved the problem guys! The system seems to have problems when having multiple phones connected to the vehicle. I disconnected my wife's phone and only left mine connected. Haven't had any issues after that.

    Mine only has my phone in it and it still does it. I talked to Toyota and they said hopefully they will come out with an update
