    Coming from a Toytec 3/1 with 305/70/18 and minimal rub at full lock in reverse. I just had Elka 2.5 DC’s installed all around along with Coachbuilder shackles. JBA UCA’s. My problem is I now have significant rub on the body mount. so much so it’s damaging my STT Pro’s. I’m unable to get into my local fab shop until 9/3, maybe a strange question but can I grind down the body mount until then?? The very front shouldn’t be very load bearing right? Any help is appreciated.

    Yes, you can take a cut off wheel and remove a good bit of the body mount. Look from underneath at where the bushing and bolt are and just don’t whack into them.
    Then weld a new cover plate on when you get a chance so you don’t pack the opening with mud and get rust.

    Kinda hard to tell because the difference from the 3/1 is so pronounced. I assume it’s quite a bit of the Elka’s with an assist from the shackles.
