You can definitely do this. There wouldn’t be a need to. They both do about the same thing.

The bulludog has more options. I would just run that exclusively.

You can adjust the way the:

    Pedal feels
    Transmission feels
    Power level
    Octane level
    Speed governor
    And more

@dirtydeeds I have a Bully Dog #40430 from my last truck (2012 Ram 2500 Hemi). Do you know if it's possible to flash the Tundra tune to this or do I need to purchase another Bully Dog?

Pretty sure it has to be Toyota specific. I’d say call bullydog tech support

I personally haven't been impressed at all with the Bullydog tune on my SC Tundra, especially when accelerating quickly. It bogs down and shifts like crap. I'm so unimpressed with the performance that I'm gonna have HP tune with dyno done in November. Ditching the Bullydog.

    That’s a bummer man:(

I’ve installed them on more supercharged tundras than I can count and not a single issue. Including on my truck. It gained 90hp 50tq on the dyno. Literally exactly as advertised.

    Two things:
    Is traction control off?
I would even consider pulling absII fuse to make sure it’s not coming on at all.

    What is your throttle setting?

Can anyone pull the absII fuse to avoid traction control?

I drive with traction control completely off. Not sure what my throttle setting is. Part of the issue is I could stand to have a tutorial on how to understand the Bullydog. I didn't install it, previous owner did. I honestly don't know what tune was installed and I don't find the interface very user friendly. My appointment in November is with Virginia Speed and they're going to look at the performance for me. Something just isn't right.

I see Magnusson is saying 550 hp. Is that right?

I'm thinking of doing it. Any issue doing it on a 75,000 mile motor? Thanks

I want to do it as well, just can't seem to save up the $ for it. I'm almost at 50K miles and have no concerns.

Best deal I've found is from Sparksparts.com. You can use "tundras.com" for a 5% discount. Shipping to AZ is $134.

Tundradude34 promotes them too. I believe it is sparks branded. Not Magnusson. Might be the exact same thing though.

Is that SC itself or comes with full install kit?

(Evil smirk) Trying to come up with justifications to tell the wife.

That's the price for the Magnuson + the tunder (Bully Dog).

Same Magnuson supercharger, but the do use the different name plate on the cover that says Sparks on it. I don't really like that they do that, but to save $350 I could live with it.
