I agree with you, seems like most of my microfiber cloth’s for waxing pick up a lot of little wood pieces sticks and twigs. I the use them for oil and grease rags.

I have this issue too. I tossed more than a few lately and will probably go thru my stash and get rid of some more. I have no friggin idea where the ‘wood’ comes from tho but it’s sure as hell there.

If I didn't have anything, then I would have to get one of those PFMs. Right now, I am a bit partial to waffle weave mf towels. Sucks up all the water no issues.

I used to think the same thing. I have a few waffle weave guzzlers, but since I got a pfm I havent used them, the pfm is significantly better. I will likely give away my waffle weave towels as a result.

Well I guess I'll have to try it then! Is one good enough or I'll probably get two so I have a backup.

One is good enough, but if you get a good deal grab 2. I had one for a while than came across a sale for $20 so I got 1, well 2 more. You'll be impressed, and you don't need the big size, the 40ish dollar one. The medium sized gray one with real boarder will dry your whole truck, they are around $20

I air dry my truck, then use premium detailer from chemical guys which I buy by the gallon. Aero cosmetics has nice product to for wash wax. Using blue micro towels. Sams club got a descent Micro towel. Buy you by them online. I believe 36 count for like $16.

The design (twisted loop) is similar...I'm guessing the GSM is too....probably very much like the new edgeless PFM

Just ordered 2 of the PFMs last night. They're on sale at autogeek for $22. I'm not sure what the discount code was, but I have that honey browser add-on that plugs in discount codes and I ended up with a 25% off. Total was about $43 for me.

The x large are on sale, like half price as normal The normal size, that sometimes goes on sale for $20 which is a great deal. Is on sale for $13 right now. I can not pass up a deal like this. These prices are crazy low. I have 3 of the medium sized and I'm getting more, and also getti g 1 of the xlarge. Ugh this stuff kills me but I can always use these.

Got a few more griots pfm towels today. An XL edgless and 2 more of the regular size. I love these towels and they are still on sale now! Everyone who dries your vehicle should get at least one of these. They really are pure freakin magic, you really don't understand it til you try one

The price is hard to pass up, I now have 5 regular size and 1 XL. The first one I got for $22 and it was worth every penny, then I got 2 more at $20 which was a steal, now this price is just insane so I got more lol. These will last a long time and you never know when one can get ruined, I like having backups for items I can't be without, like these towels

I have not used a large, or the XL edgeless version yet. I assume, and hope they are just as good as the smaller gray with blue edge version.
