Well as the title states I bought my wife a Kia Telluride because of everything we drove which included pilot, passport, crv, rav4, Highlander. It was the one for her. I’ll be honest I’m a pretty dedicated Toyota guy especially when it comes to trucks, but I am very impressed by the Telluride. I hope we are able to enjoy it as a family car for years to come. Going to change out the rims at some point for now this how she sits. F9A97F9E-A4C5-47B7-9093-DEAC5262B7B9.jpg

It does look impressive. Going to be in the market in a few months for a 3 row and it’s on the list.
    Congrats!

Sharp ride, I’ve been looking at those and the Hyundai twin also. We need something with more room than our 4 runner. I’m a dedicated Toyota guy also, but it’s not going to be my ride. Kia and Hyundai make excellent vehicles.

One of my coworkers bought one when they came out. I couldn’t believe how nice it was He has been buying Kia’s since they came out, he had never had any issues with them.

    Nice, Kia.
Was going to get my wife a Kia Cadenza but got her a Genesis G80 instead.

Not a Kia guy.. but between the stinger and the telluride, they've got some game in the design department.

What's the engine power ratings? Does it feel like enough?

Our telluride is a 3.8 v6 with 291 horsepower it’s dam quick has plenty of power and it’s mated to an 8 speed transmission. It’s super smooth.

Have seen a few lately, getting my attention. It is nice looking. Have only seen in white, which looks great, curious about other colors.

    Enjoy the new ride.

I have been impressed with what I have been seeing about these too. Same story here, we are Toyota people but the interior and design looks pretty nice on them.

I've actually been looking at the 2020 version along with the Hyundai Palisade. The Telluride I saw on the road the other day was a real head-turner.

I was following one today and the whole time thinking it’s a Volvo SUV until I actually read the name.

Rock on! Please keep us updated about how you like it. Looking at this for my wife in the next year or so potentially. My parents just bought a Palisade but I think the Telluride looks nicer.

All in all, Im a fan and I really dig the Telluride.

My wife has a 2012 KIA sorento AWD (coincidentally, magnetic grey:thumbsup:) Pretty awesome loaded vehicle for 30k. Heated and cooled seats(and I can actually feel the cooled seats), heated steering wheel, 3 rows, 24 mpg, PANO sunroof, NAV, and a 100k warranty.

As many times as it's been wrecked I can substantiate that they do well in crash tests. :censored:

My Toyota mechanic said they are great cars until about 130k. We are at 140k-ish an sho 'nuff it's starting to have some minor repairs.
I can say her Kia didn't hold its value at all. Her 2012 books out around 2400-4500 dollars. Maybe I'm just used to Tundras values, lol. Either way it's not an issue because we aren't selling it and it still drives awesome.

Awesome! I fell in love with the Telluride the more I researched it. Features per dollar and that warranty are awesome. :fistbump: If I had a family, it would be my first choice

Yea we test drove the palasade it’s sick but we didn’t need a family car we already have a 05 pilot 225k, 03 pilot 164k, 02 crv 217k, and a 99 odyssey 160k, and the tundra 5400, she needed a work car she works for 4 different companies so it’s working out great if it goes 3 years no big issues would be awesome

we donated 01 town and country with 317k miles and a 00 accord with 302k miles they both ran good but getting rusty we didn’t want to deal with selling them because if they break down people would complain that we sold them junk so Kars for kids took them

Nice looking. When they first came out I thought it was a Land Rover. I love my Toyotas though. I recently read people getting ALOT of rock chips on the front end due to the paint being soft. You might want to look into PPF.

It’s been great. We have about 5500 miles on it now and haven’t had any trouble. We are averaging around 26-27 miles a gallon. I will say the transmission takes some getting used to. It’s a ten speed. But once I got used to it and learned how it works I actually really enjoy it. Definitely a nice ride.

That’s awesome and pretty good MPG for the size! I think I mentioned earlier about my wife’s Kia Sorento. Was an extremely solid car until around 130k. Then a lot of little minor stuff , but nothing worth getting rid of it. It has driven well and performed well. It’s was a
Really good economical purchase for us and served us well. Still driving it and switching off with the Chevy Bolt. I wish you the best in that thing and I was trying to convince my wife to check it out for her next vehicle.
