Most dont know how beautiful NY is and think it is a concrete state.

Took a week off to do a little walking around.
Getting ready for some kayaking today .

Boss told me I need a week to relax

Looks like a great time! I drove up to Syracuse from MD via 81 for work a few years back. Thought it was real pretty country and was disappointed I didnt have time to explore while I was up there.

Great shots. The NE is just amazing from all the pictures I’ve seen over the years. Hidden gems for sure.

I love upstate ny. My family is from oneonta and i spent many many summers up there. Oneonta was a cool little town to explore as a kid. I rode my bike everywhere there. Also used to vacation to keuka lake in the finger lakes. Took many trips to Cooperstown not only for the baseball HOF but also for golf trips, and some time on the lake. Evey now and then I get an invite to friends places on lake George, or champlain. Also went to glens falls camping once. It's all just amazing and somewhere I never get tired of visiting. Most of my fam have relocated to Rochester which is also a great area, I go to the lake, visit the old locks, swing up to Niagara and finger lakes wineries when I'm up that way.

NY is one of the prettiest states I've driven through. It surprised me because, like you said, everyone thinks of NYC when they think of NY.

And life is better with dogs. And steak.
