    Hi everyone
I am Jon from the upstate NY area.
I am new to the site and new to being a Tundra owner. I just bought a nice 2011 SR5 double cab with 160,000 miles on her. She runs great and still looks pretty good. The guy I bought it from took pretty good care of the engine but took her in the woods hunting so she had some scratched and dings that I will have to take care of later.

I plan on doing a tune-up, plugs, filters belt,EXT. I am thinking of also having the fluid changed in the transmission. I can do it myself but I never have been a transmission guy so I might leave that to the professionals.

The only gremlin that I have had so far and have not been able to pin down is something I believe is tied in with the cruise control. We went out for a ride Saturday and I tested the cruise control to see if it was still working. Everything seemed to be working fine until we came to a stop light. We coasted to a stop and the truck just stalled. Throw it neutral and she started right back up, and then she did it again at the next light. She had been running really great up until then so I turned the cruise control off and she never stalled again after that.

Has anyone experienced an issue like this? Also what else should I be looking to have serviced? I don't know what has been done in the past.

    Thanks.

Thanks for the ideas. Cleaning the throttle body and the MASS sensor is on my list when I take things apart to replace the plugs.

I'm in a similar situation. 2011 sr5 4.6 with 135k. Super clean inside and single owner so it had to be taken care of.
I sometimes have a hesitation between 2nd-3rd gear they feels like driving over rumble strips for a brief second.
On the plans are oil and trans fluid change along with plugs. I'm thinking of going the drain the 2qts now and then 2qts tomorrow route because I don't quite understand how to unhook at the oil cooler and fill from there.
Had to put new shoes on bc the others were bald bald bald.
I guess I should also look at the maf and tbody. Is that just a simple fuel additive for the throttle body?
