    @TOTAL CHAOS Just an FYI... I started installing a set on my 2018 CM SR5 and Toyota may have "modified" the bed bc the holes are not lining up properly. When I drilled the lower "side" hole, it didn't line up with the access area inside the light cover opening (about 1/2in too low). I ended up drilling a new hole through both the bed AND the stiffener. Would have doen it just 1/2in higher, but since there I had just drilled the bed near there I dind't think it would be as structurally sound, so I went with the access hole about 2 1/4in higher.

    And then with the top hole, again, it does not line up right. Checked this one before I drilled and it would have come out in an area where you cannot get to the back side to install the washer/nut. Ended up drilling a new hole in the bed stiffener/bed about 1/2in lower than the hole provided.

    Going to install the passenger side tonight and I'll take some pics for reference. I would think that it might be good for you to provide a few sets of holes going forward so that customers can pick the set that best lines up with their vehicle year.

    @TOTAL CHAOS ...
    Here are some pics showing how the stock holes (red) and new holes (green) line up on the inside of the brake light opening. Both sets of stock holes end up in a location where they are not accessible from the back side (blocked by sheet-metal), so be sure to tell clients to eyeball them from the back before they drill (or provide a few sets of holes to account for variances between vehicles). Learned this the hard way with the lower hole on the drivers side where I drilled the stock location and couldn't get the washer/nut on despite all my best efforts.

    The stock TC locations worked fine for me and I used a stubby wrench inside the body area.

    I tried the stubby as well, but there was no way in hell it was going to work. The top holes were literally right behind sheet metal, and the bottom holes were far enough down that while I might be able to get the nut/washer on by hand, no tool would have fit in that small space. Stubby wrench or regular....

    Thank You for providing photos and giving us some details as to what modifications you had to do. I'll be discussing this with the team but it might be a minute before I follow up.

    We are closed right now for our shop vacation (6/28-7/14)

    I'll be monitoring the forums while we're closed

    No problem.... I STILL think you have a great product, and these small changes that Toyota may make from year to year are probably impossible to keep up with. Btw, I'm just over here in OC, so if you want to take a look in person that could be arranged. I'd also be willing to be a "test mule" for you guys with future projects.

    You shouldn’t experience any major issues. Some very minor shaving of the Decked system has been required on some trucks but not all

    Any changes made to work with 2018+ trucks as mentioned by @DividedSky ? I’m holding off until I get confirmation.

    Honestly, the "fix" was so easy I wouldn't even sweat it. If you need to drill some additional holes, just go ahead and do it. Maybe just eyeball it up before you drill to make sure things will align.

    Kinda hoping for $180 I wouldn’t have to drill holes.

    We haven't made any changes

    The hardware can be accessed with a short box or open end wrench. It can be a little bit tight on some years and models.

    Sorry about any inconveniences caused by this
