Wow, what a trip. So I was 8 in 1974, lived in LA, got to go to some Rams games. One of my indelible childhood memories is sitting in the nosebleed section and watching paper airplanes appear to hover motionless on a hot air current just below me. Thanks for the flashback. But the letter is funny too.

The term "attached" is a bit of a give away, enclosed would have been the term with snail mail. But it's still funny.

Disco still sucks, 40 years later. But slightly better than rap.

But the Awesome Power Ballads of the 80's would have never happened if it weren't for the 70's and people realizing how sucky disco was.

We’ll have to agree to disagree. I love both the Carpenters and pimp clothes.

Here’s a pic of me in the 70’s. At least mom slightly turned the cigarette away from her baby.

A friends dad had a Gremlin, put a 360 in it if I remember correctly. It was a drag car and the frame was bent because of the torque. White and red, looked like a daggum tennis shoe.

My sister had a Pacer. Perhaps worse junk than a Maverick? But at least it ran most of the time, unlike my 1974 Fiat Spider. A beautiful worthless vehicle too. It would start most of the time, and then decide to take an afternoon off. For no reason. Time has been good to automobiles, generally.

Too much talk about the little cars. When we were dating, my wife drove her dad’s 1974 Buick Electra for a while. The back seat in that car was enormous.....

Some boys around here built up a Maverick that would eat your lunch. I had to ride in the middle back seat because the slicks would rub.:burnrubber:
