I'm looking at a 2012 Tundra with 61,000 miles on it my concern is when I had it checked out there was some oil around the engine they are saying that the oil leak has been repaired. I am wondering if this is the right truck for me and if I'm going to have continued problems with these oil leaks. It is the 4.7 engine. Any thoughts should I get the vehicle or avoid it.

Welcome! Get something in writing about the oil leak repair with some kind of warranty.
That is some low miles, should be good.

It won’t be a 4.7L in a 2012 unless it was swapped in and that’s very unlikely.

He's right.might be a 4.6 v8.they are Good engines.the stopped making them in 2019.you can only get the 5.7 v8 now.4.6 is 310 horsepower I believe.I have a friend that has one in his 14 tundra and it runs great.I would get a written warranty and check for the dreaded cam tower leak.If not that it could just be a leaky valve cover gasket.Thatbis low miles!
