I have 2007 2wd. Running 275 65 r18. I desperately need new tires all around and wanted to upgrade to something bigger. Truck is stock height. I also want to keep stock wheels. My question is what size tire can I run on stock 18s without any issues? Thank you in advance.

CMC. Cab Mount Chop. Right where the body ends in the wheel well.

I would think if you only go up one size, either 285 or 70, you'll probably be okay. If you rub, it'll probably be minor, like a mudflap. And the CMC isn't as bad as it sounds. It's just cutting back a little part in the wheel well and welding on a piece to give you a little more room.

P275/70/18, anything bigger will require some sort of lift. Spacers, coilovers, or suspension.

I did a Bilstein 5100 shock on the front and leveled it out. About a 2-1/4" lift up front. Rides better than stock. Shocks are $90.00 ea plus alignment $ 300.00 tops. $ 400-450 installed at a shop. I am running 285/75R-18 on stock wheels and no body mount chop. That is close to 35" tall tire. Lots of guys run 295/70R-18 as a little more common. Mudflap mods or removal but nothing crazy. Good luck with everything

Are you running wheel spacers on your stock rims? I have the Rock Warrior with the stock 17's and they're kinda growing on me and I like the idea of 5100's up front with 1.25" spacers to give a more aggressive stance.

I am not running wheel spacers. When running wheel spacers, you are moving the tire out for a more aggressive stance, but that's when you get in trouble with body mount clearance. It sounds almost backwards, but crank your wheels all the way to one side and go out and look at the clearance to your body mount. Now picture that wheel moved on that same plane and you'll see how close it gets. Good luck with everything !
