The Aluma series is brand new, that is why not a lot of people have them. I’ve seen nothing but problems from Icon. @Toytec Lifts where do you stand in this. Kings and fox may be better, but most likely overkill for your situation.

@ColoradoTJ , this might be a silly ? What would you recommend for the rears if I go kings up front, I know I would love to get the kings in the rear aswell, but $$..trails at most here and hauling alot. I read some guys use 2 brands aswell..TIA Chris.

FOX has such ridiculous lead times because of making shocks for factory truck sales.

OP No they are not needed but alignment numbers like them better. Undecided on uca,s. I have a set of RW wheels already. Deciding on rubber. Perhaps ko2’s

I'd also like to see the "Lots of documented failures of toytecs in general". Hardly any at all here other than the Eibach supplied coil issue.....and a lot of members, lot's of members, run with ToyTec.

What makes you say that? King OEM are readily available, no need to wait. Just had King build my LT shocks, their lead time was the shortest, half of the expected lead time for Fox. Got them a week earlier than quoted as well.

My Icons have held up much better in the Ohio winters than my Fox's. I would go Kings /Icons. Icon does good black friday deals too.

Just to revisit your venom build. you went through the three suspension options that I was looking at and ended up with the radflos as your favorite. how did they do on farm roads and high speed dampening because that's mostly what I'm looking to improve with my truck

Google provides lots of links, https://www.google.com/search?q=toy...rome..69i57.3455j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

Most of the photos of failures I've seen are from Facebook. A week or two ago I saw a picture of a toytec shock that had nothing tweaked on it and the shaft buckled when someone merged onto the interstate, and then the toytec reps gave him all sorts of hell about how he had messed with the preload and stuff which the guy said he hadn't.

All shocks have failures, but seems like I see way more from Toytec and Bilstein (though Bilstein's are pretty cheap, so maybe it comes with the territory). Maybe it's not a Tundra issue, I don't frequent Tundra discussions but it seems to pop up often in other toyota pages.

The one time I ordered Kings they said 12 weeks and it ended up being 16 lol (though they weren't an OEM application)

I meant FOX. Sorry. FOX has long lead times and is typically back ordered many places.

What are some good alignments numbers ? What is it that I should see when looking at the specs?

I would be hesitant to buy Toytec after reading about them basically telling people to go pound sand after having issues. Not what potential customers want to read about.

Adding the 6112s lifted the truck alot more than the 5100s at the highest setting I was real surprised

It's good so far dont see difference on DD from the 5100s just looks more bad ass......we will find out off road soon......I also set at highest setting so I'm sure the ride could be better if it was at lower setting
