Is there anywhere to go off road in the North East? I'm in New York, and I am most certain that there is nowhere in this state to go. But I am willing to travel.

Thank you, I've been looking but haven't really seen much, and the local clubs I did find, aren't really operational

I've heard of that park. I might head out that way this summer and check it out.

I am in the same area and you have to travel a ways to go off roading.

    Nothing in the Rochester area.

that would be Rausch Creek offroad park. its huge. actually has two sides to it. used to take my jeep up there all the time. IMO it is way to tight for trucks. had plenty of pin stripes and bumper rubs on the jeep. i can only imagine a full size pickup

Just drive on the roads in New York, you'll feel like your off roading.

Seriously though I wish there were places around here.

Not sure if you can go to Tug Hill. I know ATV and snowmobiles are allowed. Not sure about trucks.

You need to travel to Vermont. They have what is called class 4 roads ( trails for Wheeling).

Look up Mountain State Overland on youtube. They have a real nice series from 2017 on Vermont.
