No we are just getting into the Trunda market. So everything depends on if we can get a truck and do some development of products for the different lines. There is a possibility that our sliders would work for the 2nd gens but we want to confirm fitment or see if there are differences.

All our full front bumpers the hoops are optional they come with a flat top and have options for fog cut outs, 20" light bar cut out. The tundra would be the same. We shed weight where we can like the lower bracing for the wings is cut out in a truss form to keep strength yet reduce weight. We are a big proponent of being as light as possible yet still offer strength.

You won't see me at the shop too often. I was there yesterday though. I work remotely doing this stuff.

What were you thinking for a bed rack set up? Be good to have someone local and that Eddy knows already in there for some mock up.

I don't think my needs call for a bed rack right now (my wants do, but I wont get my wants for a while), but im always down to hang out for a mock up! we also have a 2016 t4r if yall ever need a mock up of anything with those either. im trying to find a cap or something similar for the bed right now so my crap stays dry when we travel.

a bed rack that allowed fabric or something like that to be draped over it is about the only benefit that I could gain. a RTT is something that the wife and I have always wanted so it would come in handy with that too, but we wont be camping in a tent for a year or so with the new baby here. if yall need ideas for bed racks though, I did see one that had a unique feature. it had a compressed air quick disconnect at the back of it. I assume it was connected with a compressor somewhere else in the truck, but it was still a neat feature. the typical mounts would need to be there (or be an option) for traction boards, hi-lifts, etc. and maybe tabs for lighting if its wanted.

I'll chat with Eddy. For the t4r really only mock up would be some minor tweaks to the full replacement rear and a hybrid front. We've been lucky to have a guy that lives in town leave his with us for weeks at a time

I for years have been looking at a rack that mounts to the diamondback covers. I currently have purchased some 80/20 extruded aluminum, but am in the process of having a buddy build the bases to integrate into the diamondback cover without drilling.

Oh a front bumper from us will never weigh 300 lbs. The dodge ram HD front bumper weighs in at a svelte ~160 lbs or so without hoops just for comparison purposes.

Gearing up for a camping trip next weekend and I could definitely use a good bed rack to go over a softopper. I'm pretty sure I've seen y'all's on a taco. Have y'all done any test fitting on a tundy?

It's short and need to make the bars wider but that's why we are going to the modular set up.

Let me get with Eddy and maybe we can get you in soon to mock something up

The one with the flat metal between the side uprights? Did I see one that was just the tube style?

Not doing the tube style anymore. The modular one is going to allow faster cheaper shipping flat pack, easier to produce and get out to customers, can make a more accurate better fit and finish product.

We've had a few inquiries. Biggest hold back right now is someone willing to drop their truck off so that we can prototype one.

Likely from the information I have gathered is a standard rear replacement would be first up on the chopping block. We would incorporate the hitch like our Tacoma rear bumper. That alone gains the Tacoma like ~6" of clearance and better departure angle.
