I thought about it after I posted that and figured I could just take it in somewhere and have them install a steel bumper and bill the insurance. I forgot I could do that. lol. For some reason I was thinking it had to be a stock replacement so I was going to just take the money and do it myself but I am thinking outside the box now. hahaha

Used 2nd gen rear bumpers don’t exist... Been searching for one myself for a loooong time. Mine’s beat to shit. Scored a practically new front bumper for $20 a while back, don’t understand how all these front bumpers are for sale, but never a rear...I thought when you went steel you did front and back...

I sold one on Craigslist few months ago. Sold quite quickly actually.

I try to look at CL at least 3 times a days. Never seen one. That sounds right that they must go as quick as they’re put up.

Body Shop had to use OEM parts on my truck. They were too legit. Some body shops will upgrade it if it doesn't exceed OEM parts or you can pay the difference.

You are correct, my insurance lady just called me to confirm that I would have to pay anything over the OEM cost so ill just stick with OEM for now. :D

What is the OEM price, like $700? For a few hundred bucks more, go aftermarket steel.

Anyone have the stock plastic piece that covers the fog lights on the back of the steel bumper? It snaps in with a rivet on the frame and a couple on the bumper/fender liner? Hoping someone got an aftermarket bumper and took em off

I know this isn't the CO BS thread, but I'm quite interested in this, depending on how soon you can get the GB set up.

So far I'm told they transferred my email to the marketing department and I should hear back from them on how many units they want to sell and the discount price.

Thanks man, but I’m holding off for a new one...already relocated the trailer harness to the bumper, so I only wanna do that once more... with a prefect bumper. Can’t imagine you’re gonna have any problem unloading that one on CL

I am, tragically, not riverfront. But if you’re down this way, give a shout and I’m happy to go huck dries with you.
