Bought the wife a 2019 Rav4 XLE Premium yesterday. This thing is pretty slick. Every safety feature imaginable. She is coming from a 2016 Camry LE so of course she is excited. We have definitely contributed our fair share of $ to Toyota over the years.

It reminds me of a crossover between a Subarau and Highlander

Did you make sure it has a Constant Velocity Transmission (CVT)? Or it could be that that IS the only possibility for a 2019.

I went to Toyota.com and looked at every 2019 Rav4 they offer. They all have the 8 speed automatic transmission. Excellent. NO CVT!!!!

does it have decent pickup, i have been thinking about selling my camry, but it has a V6 and i feel like i am driving a sports car after driving my Tundra.
i have been looking at the crossovers , but most of them are 4 cylinders, or turbos and take premium.

Lols like Yota changed the front to mimic the 4R as well.

Pretty good pick up. Probably not as good as V6 Camry. Better than her 4 cylinder camry had.

It needed a bunch of changes. They did a good job redesigning it.

So much for a lot of research. Wifey went and looked at one while I was at work. I think she may go get it this morning.

And that is how I came to own a Toyota. I asked my mechanic what are the vehicles he never works on, and as he was running them off his wife pulled up in a older rav4.

Soon a full on Toyota family over here!

Wife placed an order on a XSE (XLE hybrid) yesterday. Wait time expected to be 10 weeks though as the hybrids seem to be I high demand.

They were pushing for a sale on the Trail edition, but couldn't justify it, although the interior was pretty nice.

We will be taking a close took at the 19s and 20s soon. Are people getting a certain % off MSRP on Rav4 like the Tundra? How much room to move with the dealers on them? They don't seem to ever have any rebates or trouble selling them

This is our 2008 Escape that was just written off today. Accident was on Thursday, she got T-Boned, other drive ran the light in a Durango with a bull bar and plowed into the passenger side.

Yay!! 2 new cars in 2 months, just what I wanted. At least we can finally rid ourselves of this Ford Lemon.
