The other ones came out easy as you can see but over each wheel theres one that just won't come out. The backside is not accessible without taking it apart- which I kind of want to avoid.

    Any suggestions?

Heat gun to soften it up & yank it? Unless you are putting the same type of fenders back on you will still need to fil those holes, and I think that plastic will give way before the metal.

Tried drilling it out then prying mangled piece, worked out but took a while. I like the heat gun idea but would need to acquire one.... thanks for the suggestions all.

Next step is filling the holes with bolt and washer- the trick is the back wheel wells are sealed underneath with a plaster type coating up to the metal so I can’t access the backside of the holes

Any pictures of your Tundra without the fender flares? Also, when you took them off, did you feel like it was something you culd put back on if you decided to? Scared of commitment.

Some of the clips will twist out — maybe the ones that came out easy.... I use the tool like in the link above ( its sort of forked at the end ) and pry them out.

Taking off the flares themself was pretty easy, took about 5 minutes for each. The clips are another story, as coyote mentions most of them twist out very easy. However- the clips at the top of the arc are VERY difficult to remove, along with one at bottom on the front well. I guess for added strength. I had a hell of time getting them out, I ended up drilling/prying. Good idea to protect the area around the clip while doing this- one bad move away from a big scratch in your paint... Will post some photos

mttmsn, definitely no going back with the same clips once you take the flares off. You basically break them to take the flares off, but I think they are (the clips) easy to replace. Also- the rubber seal along the top of the flare will be damaged when taking it off- but could be put on back on if you get the right sealant/glue or whatever. I never liked the way the flares looked with the standard size tire, people who do a lift and go bigger seem to pull the look off better with the flares. I have funky holes now on the side of my truck but the profile looks better to me.
