Thanks. Try to stay on top of it. I rinse the underside off a lot especially after driving on the beach.

    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
It's just foam insulation. Part of the PCV line system. Since it's part of a formed rubber hose, replacing the foam with OEM might be more hassle than it's worth.
If you want to cover/replace: Check out DEI's hose insulation, and/or some catch cans.

Thanks, I have my first 5000 mile service coming up might see what the dealership says. I most likely will leave it alone (Being it should be okay and cause no issues) or wrap it with tape, as it is covered by the engine cover and wont be seen.

Tried to put my front splash guards on again, I don't know what's wrong here. I can't get the clips to slide onto the ends far enough for the holes to line up... I've done this before I don't know what I'm doing wrong now :annoyed:. What I'm seeing:

Your engine bay looks great - I never seem to be able to get mine to look that good. What did you use for cleaning and dressing? Thank in advance,

I use 303 Aerospace Protectant on all the everything. (plastic, rubber hoses, etc) Around $40 per gallon on Amazon, but I have had great luck with it. It seems to help everything hold up longer and not become brittle over time in my experience. As far as cleaning goes I take the covers off and wash them off the vehicle the use 303, no special de-greasers or products for cleaning. I just try to stay on top of it and not let it go to long before cleaning every 90 days or so. It also helps the truck has less then 5000 miles on it

Nice I got the Retrax One XR coming, I didn't want the electric one since I'm in Canada and it would suck during the colder months. Love the look of them!

Yeah, you have to get a lot of ice off of them in the winter at the tailgate and the sides, I could see the motor burning up if you're not careful in getting it all cleared off.
