CB4235C0-66C1-4238-B115-5D75A2EB549E.jpg Hi all, new member here in Sneads Ferry, NC. Just traded my ‘15 Tacoma for a ‘19 Tundra SR5 TRD OR in MGM. Love the truck so far and got to keep the lifetime unlimited mile warranty from the dealer. I followed the Tacoma forum while I had that truck, and am glad to see the Tundra equivalent doesn’t disappoint. I plan to keep the truck until it dies (or I die first).

Not allowed to die and be apart of this forum sorry. So that truck is going to have a lot of miles on it some day. For sure.

I’m going to wait until after the first of the year. I plan on getting a camper shell, 3” lift from Toytech/OME/Bilstein, possibly a low profile winch bumper with Engo 12k winch, black plasti-dip badges, LED interior conversion, and KO2 tires once these wear out. I’ll take my time and do it over a year or two, and may upgrade to a Pioneer HU if I can retain full button functionality.

Do you have any mods done?

Hell yea! Yea I ran mine how it came off the lot in Sept of 17 until now, nittos finally wore down enough and I ran over a couple screws and rode my spare for a while (actually made a couple trips to ohio/Tennessee/alabama rocking it hahaha). Just put 6112/5160 combo on with an icon/deaver leaf expansion pack and general grabber x3's. Westin Outlaw front bumper gets delivered on thursday and will wrench that on, ordering a BAMF low profile rtt rack and decked bed system here soon as well. As well as getting 4.88's and Auburn lsd when the time/money allows (got the little 4.6 in it to save money initially and the wife turned around and flexed nuts on me and traded her limited t4r in on a new trd offroad t4r with nitto trailgrapplers the day after I got my tundra :angrygirl:)

Nice plan dude. How’s the 4.6? I got the 5.7 since I tow a small boat, but the father in law has the 4.6 and has no complaints. Would love to get the decked system but it’s a little pricey. Spent a lot last year getting back into hunting so I need to chill before the wife cuts me off.

Honestly it hasnt given me any issues other than wanting more pep when I stomp on it but that's neither here nor there haha. Gonna slowly get her dialed in and rolling hard, plan on keeping this one for a long time (shorty headers/ba exhaust also on the list down the road)

I had a 2014 4.6 as my first tundra which was an upgrade from my Tacoma. That was a nice truck. But when I left behind my 4.6 and went to the 5.7 I couldn't believe the difference in the "pep when I stomp". Night and day difference. Not a huge deal to a lot of people but I live where the hills in WNY meet the highways heading towards the cities, so get up and go means a lot out here. Either way, the power is near unbeatable no matter which option you have and the reliability is top notch. Can't go wrong either way
