I've been thinking of trying an airbrush or hplv gun of some sort. Would be great for optimum tire coating

I don't have any tips but I emptied a full can on all 4 tires.

@driverdog will have the answers. He uses waxaddict which can be tricky to work with and he does an amazing job.

I use optimum tire coating and it sucks to apply on anything except flat surfaces. I think I am going to get a air gun for it.

Try using a soft bristle brush, spray dressing on tire then brush it in evenly. I use Decked Out by Shine Supply diluted 4:1

Spraying is the way to go. I have always just used the regular squirt bottles. A pump sprayer may be more cost effective if you’re buying the pro products by the gallon. I’ve never tried any of the pro stuff, just what ever is on sale. I don’t use it every wash, only when they start to look grey or dusty.

Also, I made a thick card board disc with a handle that covers my wheel perfectly to protect from overspray on the freshly washed rim.

Thanks for all the replies you all are an awesome community, I went out today and fooled around with a few different applicators and techniques and the best thing I came across was a paint brush and some cheap Walmart microfiber towels for the VRP that I’m using, it turned out ok and was much easier to get into and out of all of the small places on these tires have. Not perfect but I’ll take it for the first time ever doing it but damn now I have the bug and want it perfect, damn. 03ED453E-43F1-4A6A-84E4-5D07ACD5D60A.jpg
