Is there a product that actually removes dried wax for plastic trim? I tried a few, nothing works as advertised.

Denatured alcohol works well, it also removes oxidation on rubber moldings around windows if you don't have denatured alcohol you can try rubbing alcohol

I use stoner tarminator to remove wax and polish residue, works well. The alcohol suggestion is another good idea.

Good old fashioned Dawn dish soap and some lukewarm water will do the trick at a fraction of the cost of these other products.

I've tried dawn and a scrub pad with little luck. Same with rubbing alcohol. I do have DNA at my office, I will give that a try.

Just be careful where you put that DNA...

Dawn has always worked great for me when getting wax or paint sealant on a trim piece. Sorry it didn't work for you!
