    reidsworks,
Do you happen to have or remember the Toyota part number of your Toyota OEM bedcover. I usually deal with McGeorge in Richmond. I just got
a rugged country cover and am going to return it for a Toyota if I can locate the model you have. Thanks!

I have the oem one and like it so far. Was gifted to me so of course i took it. A friend has the same basic cover on his 2014, but it has a lock to open the front panel only, anyone have that one? Is it possible to mod the one with out it? I have some ideas...

I know I'm dredging up an old thread, but did anyone ever find a part number for this "Toyota" OEM hard tri fold? I saw one on a 2019 at the dealer recently, but was unable to get more information. I really like the rail system it uses to latch down.

The OEM Toyota part number PK3B134H6H (For 6.5 bed.) Ordered from my local dealer, and had it in 2 days. I did have to find the part number, as the parts guy didn't seem to be trying all that hard. He kept recommending a local shop that sold aftermarket, but once I provided him with the part number it was easy.

Pretty sure PK3B134H5H, which I noted above was discontinued, is for the 5.5 bed.

The cover does not come with a built in locking mechanism, but if you lock the tail gate then the latch mechanism is not accessible, so.... a casual deterrent. I'm confident that a determined thief could pry the cover up if they wanted to.

You do not "need" the OEM bed rails to fit this cover. In fact, if you have them you have to take them off to install (you can put them back on after.) This cover is the dryest I have ever owned, which is to say it's probably 97% dry. YRMV

Here is a link to Youtube video which should help with decision making.

Good to know. I don’t even have the holes for the rails. When Toyota put the bed liner in they sprayed right over everything. Looks like I’ll just have the dealer put it on if they can find it.
Good to know about water. My factory Tacoma one was awesome. I’d say 97% is a perfect assessment for that one too. That’s what I need. Thanks! Hope I can find it.
