Rotopax has some rotopax gas, diesel, water, and mount options available under their blemish section. Says fully functional, cosmetic blemishes.

Now I can afford to get lost for another 40 miles!

I’d rather not list. My wife might see it.
I ordered and received 1 fuel and 1 potable water containers. The ones I received were USED; not blemished. I don’t smell gas in the fuel container but the outside is very faded and visible marks that it’s been mounted on a rack for a while.

The white potable water is cleaner on the outside but the inside had black and yellow residue marks. I don’t trust filling it with potable water. These containers will be going back; not worth the little savings.

The mounts are a better deal.

Mine haven’t come in yet. I was eager to see them...

    What sizes did you get?

2 gallon fuel and 1 gallon potable container. The mounting hardware doesn’t look like blemished at all so they are a good deal. I already emailed them about returning the containers. There’s a big difference in used versus blemished. Hope your transaction turns out better than mine.

My blemish items came in. Ordered another 4g and 2 2g fuel tanks. Minor discoloration on the corners. Def not used or mounted before. Wry happy for the discount. Also ordered two more mounts because I couldn’t pass that up and I can’t see anything wrong with them. Original packaging missing the cardboard top of the bag.

    10/10 ordering again

The mounts are definitely a good buy. I’m glad the containers worked better for you. I’m a bit disappointed that their CS wasn’t willing to work a return or exchange. What I received are definitely used.

Try doing a bleach/water soak in your water container. We do it all the time in canteens in the military. I would do a bit more bleach than what we use in canteens.... Then let it soak with that for a few days.... Rinse out real well and check it then. You may need to do the soak a couple of times.

Thanks! I’ll definitely do as suggested but I doubt I can ever drink something out of that container...maybe water for something I have to boil at camp.

Glad all went well for you.
