No real updates just yet. Rear shocks are nice though. No bounce/roll like my old ones. Much more compliant when turning from a stop over some crappy pavement. One spot on my commute there's a right turn from a stop. Truck would get a little skittish in the rear under power. That doesn't happen anymore.

They're OE coils with 2k miles on them. Pick them up today.

Got the tow/haul. We're picking up a boat next month that's quite a bit bigger than what we tow currently so I thought I'd give the tow/haul a try. They're only a Franklin more than the sports.

looking forward to a review of these as I'm trying to be more aggressive offroad and want to level the truck but don't want to go cheap and upgrade again later on. I've been really interested in the Radflo shocks too but those are a bit more pricey than these and I'm on a rather tight budget. either way I still won't be buying for another couple of months but that just gives me time to do as much research as possible

Thanks so much for your help! Now I'm just confused where the black wire goes (I'm assuming red and blue go together for the hot but what about the black?

We don't really do any rock crawling or blasting thru the desert like some of these hardcore guys on here. We do like to travel dirt roads/trails at a fair clip though. From what I've researched, these seem to be a pretty good, middle of the road performance/price option.

I'll update the Falcon shock thread when I've had them on for awhile. Fronts probably won't go on until sometime next month due to my schedule.

I was looking for a way to change out bulbs in rally 4000 off road lights. I have 8 of them and did not want halogen or hid if I could go with led and not have to spend 4 to 5 hundred a light. Not drill holes or have to do any major modifications to front bumper or light bar. There was a person who changed out bulbs with lifetime led in the rally 4000 said they worked good that is all I know about them.

I am totally unable to get my LEDS to fit in the socket, any tips?

What about that lifetime led allows it to work, it seems the same as what I have - any options that arent $150?

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PKPFHQ9

I will let you all know Wednesday when they arrive whether or not they need modification or not and do a small write up and maybe a video to show how they fit and what they look like.

I replaced my lower steering shaft/linkage. The old one had been failing for quite a while. After spraying it with wd40 and whatever I could find it finally seized. Then I removed it, oil bathed it while I waited for my replacement to show up. Interesting to note the knockoff linkage I bought has different angles due to the lower knuckle being shorter. Seems like it doesn’t make a difference in drivability so far. Ever since 37s, working under the truck is wicked. So much room haha.
Another side note, I strapped tools, hitch receivers and the jerry can to my bed net. (Wife and the kids taking it to pick a trailer up today). Never really thought of doing this before, but am glad the idea came to me. Will be doing this forever now.

Completed some upgrades to the rear suspension. Sway bar, shocks, and air bags. Will be towing a trailer 1/2 way across the U.S. in a couple of months so want to make sure everything is in good order. Does everyone else have the same number of leaf springs on stock suspension?

This is probably a dumb question, but do you have to have an on board air compressor to have air bags?

Not a dumb question. You don't have to but it's nice. I don't have on board right now. This is my first time using air bags but I feel like once you inflate them to adjust for a load you will just leave them be. You can always let air out easily if needed.

I think on board air is nice if you air down your tires a lot while going off road, otherwise probably not necessary.

I dont have them on my tundra but have them on a duramax. I have the on board compressor with a control valve (no tank) located in the center console. It is not necessary but is really nice to be able to dump bags hook up trailer and adjust ride height.
