Two of my favorite hobbies are Hunting and Fishing. Which means I am constantly looking at weather forecast details. I love waking up early before a hunt or fishing outing and watching the weather forecast on TV with a nice big cup of coffee (it is for sure a guilty pleasure).

    Qeustions

    1. Do any of you use a personal weather station at home? If yes, which model and what are your likes and dislikes? Also, do you have you PWS connected to weather underground or another online service that allows you check your PWS remotely?

I currently use AcuRite 00589 - I am considering upgrading this soon as I am no longer living in an apartment. But it gets the job done for now.

    2. What is a you favorite weather service website / mobile weather app?

I typically always use weatherunderground.com / the mobile app - occasionally i will check other services like weather.com or accuweather.com just to compare.

    3. Lastly, do any of you use any type of NOAA weather radio? I have been considering picking one up for various reasons. If yes, which model.

Check out RadarScope for an app! Worth every penny. Use it all the time when fishing.

I use weatherbug for an app, works pretty well.

For fishing you should check out tides4fishing.com.

@ToyotaTundraMike try this app out. It is very easy to navigate.

@VA10 for a quick forecast of the weather, I just made a shortcut on my home screen for the NOAA website and a few locations. I think they're the most accurate.
