We have similar experiences and back grounds my dad was a tool dealer, had a city bus for the tool truck. I'm 59 and this is my third brand new Truck. Had my fair share of jalapies too... Lol. This site is full of really great tips, great people and ways to mod your truck if your into that. I told my self, not touching this new truck. It's perfect, then I found this site. Enjoy your new Tundra, be safe, good luck to you bud.:hattip:

Thanks dude, definitely interested in doing something with the stereo and the amp research steps. I'll wait a little bit to do the suspension but I'm thinking I'll go with Kings and a small lift (still have to load my dirtbike). The open diff won't cut it out here I have to do some more research on wether or not I want to go Auburn LSD or ARB locker

I agree about the lockers, all or most of my cars and trucks have had posi rear ends there's threads here on both of them, comparisons etc. I'm partly done with lift kit, tires. I have an exhaust system to put on and 18 head lights, winch too. I'm looking at new brakes and pads next. I guess the stock gears are ok but I think 4-11 would be ok but I need to do more reasearch first. Our trucks have that traction system in them but nothing like a posi, I just put a 9" in my camaro with 4-11s haven't driven it yet it's been a long term project that I need to restart. Stop buying Tundra parts...

I don't really need the locker so I'll probably just get the LSD. I won't be doing any serious off-roading just some minor trails to campsites and to get to riding spots for the dirtbike.

I did just order some husky liners and black tundra letters for the tailgate so it has begun lol.
My buddy is going to clear bra most of the truck for me with some 1mm self healing stuff then I will ceramic coat the rest of the truck.
I'll probably paint the chrome stuff with bedliner this weekend, it's a process to do it properly but it looks good I did it on most all my trucks.
I will be out by you for hangtown on Saturday, my GF got some free VIP tickets to the race, let's hope the rain holds out

Yep let the games begin. I de chromed my truck first thing I did. Hangtown? Sorry I'm old where's that?
Here's a picture of my ride. No need to catch... Take your time. Pace you self. That's what I keep telling my self. Keep me posted on what upgrades you do I'm always interested in that. Keep a watch out on this site for group buys , there's a thread for Cool Springs Toyota, "ultimate parts thread" @Roman , he's a great resource for any TRD parts, last thing I bought from him was drivers side grab handle on A pillar.
