    Just picked up this used 2018 SR 6.5 bed. Fleet vehicle for an oil company. 39,000mi. 4WD

    I'm so pleased I don't have to waste time blacking out chrome! I'm sick of plasti-dip. You can see my Tacoma in the background. Time to re-plastidip the grill. What a pain. Bumpers, mirror caps, grill, all come black on the Tundra SR trim level. Nice!

    BONE STOCK!! 7/15/19

    A couple of minor mods to start out with. First of all, I'd really like to express my admiration of the SR grill. Total bare bones trim level yet has a great blacked out grill! Much better than a Tacoma of the same trim.

    AVS windsheild deflector. Got one on the Tacoma, like the design, works great.

    Bed Mat. The bed needs some work. I'll need to get it lined to protect the sides and get rid of more white. Something with a smooth finish. I also need to install some tie-down bed rails. In the mean time, I'll get the bed mat in...by the way, the Tundra bedsides are really deep!

    I'm a Tacoma owner adjusting to the Tundra. I REALLY LIKE THAT V8!! But I feel like I'm in a 1970's International Harvester with that gear shift lever on the column, sheeesh!

    More simple mods:
    Floor mats. If I had paid attention to everyone's obsession with Husky liners on this forum, I might not have bought the ones I have now.

    3D floor mats. I mean like, they're totally form fitting, and they have some sort of velcro-like bottom to them. They stick to the floor. The surface is somewhat rubbery with a pattern embossed on them.

    They're OK. We'll see how time will tell. We chose Gray because it was much cheaper, $96 and perhaps they will add some contrast to the interior...

    AVS vent visors.

    Got 'em on the Tacoma. Got 'em on the Tundra...

    @JamesTkirk
    Hey - Great build so far! The wheel and tire package is exactly what I'm buying next week.
    How are the clearances after the OME?

    I currently have ICON 2.5 coil overs and a SPC UCA installed and an ARB bumper. I'm concerned with clearances.

    Thanks for any feedback....
