I live in Moorpark now, a nicer park :D
Went for a funeral and spent a few days with the family. It was a nice break although not best circumstances. Grandmothers don't last forever but mine was 96, that's a good life.

Yes, it's the front bed rail. The sides are fine. There is a 1/2"gap where the shell doesn't touch the bed.
I bought a long piece of foam pipe insulation and cut it to size and then laid it along the length of the rail. My only concern is that it may trap water and rust out the bed.

    Here are some pictures.

I put "double bulb" down first but that was probably overkill.

I went to my local ARE dealer and they sold me all the supplies they use when they install them. The stuff they refer to as "double bulb" is sold on Amazon but it was a lot more expensive than what I paid. The guys at the shop sold me everything for less than $30 and I had some left over.

Here are some options. I would check eBay too.

    https://www.amazon.com/s?k=double+bulb+seal&ref=nb_sb_noss_1

They also sold me a roll of stuff similar to this.

I’d love to find a trd lsd for mine. Is your 6 disc a factory 6 disk unit you added or is it aftermarket?

I see the TRD/Kazuma LSD pop-up for sale from time to time... keep looking.
It's a factory head unit and amp out of a newer model, plug-n-play installation and it sounds great.

I was going to possibly look at finding a entune 3.0 unit that’ll fit in the head unit space... I know the chr radio with 2.0 will fit. Not sure if the 3.0 will

Entune is the worst OEM interface I've used and it isn't particularly close. It lasted 3 days in my wife's 4Runner before I got frustrated and yanked it out.

I just want the 3.0 for CarPlay. Chances are it’ll be cheaper for me to just go aftermarket though

In other news the new rear bumper came in today. Bumper looks good. The brackets are no where near right

Which fog light anytime mod did you do? I've seen more than one way to do it, but I can't decide which is prefer to use.

If you don't care about a CD player you can get an aftermarket unit for under $300 from Crutchfield.

Me being me, I keep looking at the 700 dollar alpine with wireless CarPlay. But I need to control myself. Radio can wait for a bit. Gotta finish body work and quality of life shit first

I picked up my Pioneer MVH-300 for $180. No CD player and no CarPlay but the Bluetooth has been flawless.

But does it have a volume knob? That's a deal breaker for me. That's why I been looking at Sony.

I didn't follow this properly. Did you just need to shorten the length or was it cut the head off this one & weld it onto the other shaft?

Do valve covers on a 2.7 and you’ll crap your pants on how easy it is to pull the valve cover. Maybe 15 min tops.

Let me know how it drives. I’m thinking the arb springs over the dobinsons springs (most because of the color)
